| ABOUT WHISTLING WINGS TAXIDERMY |
Since 2002, Frankie & Jason Barham (founders of Whistling Wings Taxidermy) have created
mounted wildlife for hundreds of customers. Their deep appreciation for wildlife led them to find
their venture into taxidermy. Having learned from World Champion Taxidermist Gene Smith, the
Barhams went to work to create 3-dimensional taxidermist representations of what animals
would look like. The interest caught on quick. Before you knew it, dozens of customers were
coming back again and again to ask for even more mounts.
A typical week for the Barhams is spent being outdoors starting as early as 4AM. Fishing at New
River and in various ponds helps relax any tension from hard laboring, and a yearly trip to
Colorado is made to hunt for elk.
